BRACKENHILL PRIMARY SCHOOL, BRADFORD - WILD LIFE GARDEN RESIDENCY
A week of workshops centred around the school's highly developed wild-life garden, with reception to year 5 children.
Workshops included natural sculpture, salvaged plastic sculpture and observational drawing.
The large playing field provided a wealth of natural materials for children to use in their sculptures, working individually and in groups.
Leaf patterns made by Reception class children from leaves they chose and collected from the Wild life garden.
Observational drawings in oil pastel, of leaves from a wide variety of native trees by children from Year 4 and Year 5.
Concertina book made to display photographs of insect sculptures from twigs and habitat dioramas made by Year 3 children.
