PICNIC IN THE PARK, CENTRE VALE PARK, TODMORDEN - DRAWING WORKSHOP

Following flood alleviation work by the Environment Agency, I was commissioned to deliver a children's drawing workshop on the theme of 'Park Life' during the re-opening of Centre Vale Park, Todmorden, and subsequently, to make a panoramic mixed-media artwork incorporating the children's drawings, for semi-permanent installation in a conservatory. Children of all ages were encouraged to imagine all kinds of life that might actually be seen in the park and to make drawings from memory or observation.
