See You Outside was an Arts Council funded Visual Art and Creative Writing project for children and young people, taking place over a six month period in the spring and summer of 2008. The project involved 2 primary schools and 1 secondary school in Bradford concentrating on art field-trips and on-site creative activities at Ogden Water near Halifax and Buck Wood in Thackley.
Participants took part in observational drawing and painting using unusual and experimental materials such as quill pens and paint made from local earth, bookmaking, cyanotype photograms and Intaglio printmaking 'en plein air' using a mobile studio and portable
etching press on the ruined site of the former Open Air School founded in Buck Wood in 1908.
The project culminated in an exhibition and celebration event in the studio at Impressions Gallery, Centenary Square, Bradford.
See You Outside was initiated, developed, managed, delivered and evaluated by Angie Rogers and Viv Owen working together in their Arts in Education organisation, Colour Out Of Space,
