Cloud Bank Over Old Town 3000.jpg Charcoal drawing of silhouetted trees against a bright sky and dark clouds

I make woodcut prints, charcoal drawings and paintings of landscape and of the flora and fauna that are an expression of specific places.

Evoking the sense of wonder that experiencing nature brings, my work shares explorations of outdoor spaces.

I am based in the tumbling hill town of Hebden Bridge in the heart of beautiful South Pennine Yorkshire.

I love wandering on the moors, watching the cloud shadows sail up the valleys and listening to the wind. Out in the landscape at all times of year I'm reminded that we too are part of nature and the cycle of seasons.
