A large original woodcut print this is the alternative Autumn version of Spring Comes To Walshaw Dean.
Printed from the same wood block but with a completely different colour palette - for those who love the cheerful golds, oranges and russet hues that dominate in Autumn.
Many times I have walked this moorland track - part of the Pennine Way between Hebden Bridge and Haworth - and as an artist I feel so inspired by the warm tones that brighten the Yorkshire landscape from September into early winter.
I'm fortunate indeed to live in a landscape that's transformed by the changing seasons and love to share my unique vision of these moors.
I printed this artwork in my Hebden Bridge studio, with oil based ink from a block of hand carved plywood on beautiful printmaking paper by Fabriano and additional colour applied using professional artists' watercolour paints.
A completely hand made artwork with natural variations in printing and hand colouring.
This woodcut is made to order and may take up to two weeks before posting.
