Hillside farms, dry stone walls and winter trees are magically transformed by crisp snow to a landscape of strong contrasts and lovely textures. Don't you find that when snow lies on the ground, details you never noticed are suddenly revealed in the bright snowlight?
For Calderdale Fields in Winter I had such fun making the original charcoal drawing - creating quick sketches (very quick as it was chilly!) and clicking away with my camera, then walking down through the snowy fields back to my warm studio.
This is my most popular giclée print, maybe because it seems to sum up winter in the Yorkshire landscape.
Printed on beautiful fine art paper with archival inks this Giclée Print is a reproduction of an original charcoal drawing and is individually signed.
