A dramatic sky above the hill top village of Oldtown in Calderdale with its landmark mill chimney. 
 
A hole in the dark cloud allows a huge beam of light to pour down and silver the surface of a small reservoir on the edge of the moorland and light up the hillsides.
 
Dark Cloud Over Oldtown is one of a series of atmospheric Yorkshire landscape artworks I have created to celebrate dramatic weather above the moors and valleys near to my home town of Hebden Bridge.
