Steep cloughs (narrow valleys made by streams) cut down through the heathery slopes of the moorland.
 
In the late winter, there is controlled burning of the heather and the blustery winds swirl smoke across the hills making intriguing shapes.

Finished with UV protective varnish and presented in a narrow, plain white frame.
