Celebrating the glorious days of high summer on the canals of the South Pennines. The towpath is a haven for wildlife and a great space for a spotting wild flowers and butterflies whilst enjoying a lovely tranquil walk, not to mention the simple pleasures of watching narrow boats slowly progressing to the next lock.
