Twilight Murmur - Original Drawing is inspired by my experiences of walking in local woods at dusk when you sense the living presence of many birds though you can't really see any.
 
A comforting wall of sound surrounds you, it is the gentle chattering of many small song birds as they settle down for the night. The softening light takes on a pinkish glow from the setting sun and the world seems a tranquil place.
 
Dimensions of the artwork are approximately 15 cm square on a backing sheet of 26 cm square white paper.
 
Bic pen and watercolour paint on rose grey textured paper by Fabriano, backed onto beautiful soft white printing paper by Zerkall.
 
The artwork is unframed.
